![]() Its a shame they don't come from the factory this way. This is of course a generalization and does NOT apply to every car, there are plenty of cars where a few simple mods really make the car wake up. ![]() Let's face it, Antares' Auto-Tune is the best thing on the market for automatic pitch correction, but at 400, it's not necessarily an accessible peace of software. So throwing on an aftermarket performance part that replaced your already optimized factory part, may not do anything at all for you. And it's available in AAX, VST and AU formats, for use in Pro-Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton, and any other DAW. On most modern cars you do that and you might actually LOSE horsepower without a tune, and even with a tune there might be no noticeable difference.Ī big part of this is that most cars that people want to do these mods on, are already very efficient from the factory, with ECUs tuned towards performance already. ![]() For example, on many older cars you could throw a cold air intake and exhaust on the car and it would drive like a whole different beast. ![]() Most modern turbo engines have a decent power bump that can be unleashed with a tune.Ī lot of more modern cars don't have the same aftermarket performance boost that older cars did which has lead to a lot of internet arguments as to what actually works and what doesnt.
